Ava's Birfday at Worldwide

I love that CjB had his birthday under "aging" so I added mine, too. No plans, as I hope to forget that another birthday means I edge ever-closer to a Flambé instead of a cake with candles!!!
Free Audio Plug Ins if you click on it, I wanted to start you off with the free stuff, but this website I discovered tonight is called Audio Damage and they have a lot of fun-looking effects, there's a drawback, no VST instruments are up yet.

My favorite keyboard sound of ALL is a Rhodes piano. Those soft, bell-like chords and arpeggios they did in the 70's with it are just so great. So, I don't know how to use this but Chris, I appreciate your sharing, I am going to hook up my MIDI ke...

Songwriter, and fan of funk, soul, most jazz (I do have some limits), I am working on my own material and I do play/sing out in the Sacramento area! I'm also in a Tower of Power tribute band, I'm the chick amongst 10 guys. And I bring my alto sax, too.

- I sing, harmonization is one of my favorite things to do. I like to do a cappella and experiment with the "voices" I can conjure: my vocal chords supplying some, my various wind instruments are also my voice and I play them that way, or so I've been told.
- Favorite Music...
- Beatles, classic soul, horn bands, funk, rock (but mostly oldies), blues is good, but I have my limits. Jazz is excellent but I am not a hard core or pure jazz person, what I don't like might get me banned from here, so I won't say it. Ecclectic, I have music in my collection from ancient times, around the world, but I can't get into rap/hip hop (I'd rather listen to the actual music they're sampling) I don't dig scream/death metal/country (well, there are some classics I do like, hard to dis Patsy)

- My new microphone is beastly! I bought a Sterling Audio ST-51 large diaphragm condenser and it's leaps and bounds better than what I was using on my voice. Good with the horns, too. I also adore my Yamaha Audiogram 6 recording interface. But I'd be nothing without my killa horns: 1979 Yamaha 62 Series I alto sax, and my "Smokie" 2006 Legend Series IV Custom tenor sax. I have a bevy of other horns, an oboe, Eb piccolo clarinet to name some oddities.

- Whew, if you've read all this dribble, I will spare you anymore. I am also a long-time graphic artist, photographer, scultptor, illustrator and other things like a MOM and I love gardening.
