Why are Bose speakers so disliked is it my ears that are not working ,I mentioned the name on a couple of other music sites and found that people do not rate Bose speakers and there reflected sound theorys. Many years before Ihad heard of or even owned any Bose speakers ,on a car that I owned the audio system had speakers in the dashboard firing up into the windscreen and then reflecting back into the car and it seem to give the sound an amazing dynamic feel ,that I have not heard since,as most car audio speakers nowadays is fitted into doors and rear parcel shelf.
So when I heard about the Bose 901s I went and had a demo and found that the same elements but on a larger scale, I dont know if anyone else has heard these speakers ,not saying they are the best out there but they sure put a kick into the music, maybe its my ears but there seems to be something in the reflected sound theory.
